I have a really great friend that took me to a cemetery one Saturday afternoon.  He is a designer and has always found inspiration in places that I would just overlook.  As accepting as I was of his passion, I still thought why a cemetery.  But, as I walked around with him I realized that there is a great deal of beauty and detail in the structures within the cemetery.  It’s almost like a sculpture garden if you open your mind and really pay attention. 


This is why I was intrigued by the Llano Cemetery Twilight Tour.  In addition to viewing the sites of the cemetery you will also be able to learn stories about lives of the people and Amarillo’s past from Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum’s Curator of History Dr. Bill Green.
